Northwoods End Table Workshop

June 6, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Roseau County Museum

Cost: $120 (Table retails at $885.00). Prepayment required to register.

Build your own end table with guidance from the craftsmen at Northern Toboggan Co. Made from durable hardwood and traditional lacing, this is a full-day, hands-on class.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

 

Materials:

  • White Ash hardwood provides strength, flexibility, and beauty, resulting in furniture that withstands the elements and constant use.
  •  TechDeck tubular nylon lacing is extremely strong (rated at 1400# per strand), light, and durable. It resists abrasion and stretch or sag.
  •  Stainless steel hardware
