Enjoy an afternoon of conversation, delightful treats, and a selection of fine teas while learning about the inspiring life of Polish humanitarian and nurse Irena Sendler. Historian and storyteller Connie Hannesson will share the incredible true story of Sendler’s courageous efforts as a social worker and member of the Polish Underground Resistance, where she helped save thousands of Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.
Pre-registration is required. Register below or call the museum, or stop by in person to secure your spot.
We welcome you to dress up for the event, don a fancy hat.
