Wood Carving Class

Spend the day learning the basics of wood carving while creating your own wooden knife in this hands on class taught by Hal Bitzer. Participants will be guided through shaping, carving, and finishing a simple wooden knife using traditional carving techniques. Whether you are brand new to carving or looking to try a new project, this class is designed to be relaxed, beginner friendly, and fun.

The Wood Carving Class will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Roseau County Museum. Cost is $10 per person and pre registration is required as space is limited. This class is open to ages 15 and up.
