We are saddened to have to do it but with all the precautions that would have to be in place to keep everyone safe, it is just not possible. Summer Explorers 2020 youth programming has been canceled for the summer. Given all the COVID-19 restrictions in place, the number of children that usually attend, and one staff member it would be hard to maintain social distancing and disinfecting everything.
It was decided that for the health and safety of the families that attend we just couldn’t take the risk
We will definitely miss all our friends new and old that come each week for fun crafts. Next year we will have new crafts along with some oldies.
Have a great, safe, healthy summer! When the Museum Gallery reopens to the public we will still have scavenger hunts available.
