Join us for a summer of fun at

Summer Explorers youth programs @ the Roseau County Museum

DREAM CATCHERS         June 5, 10:30am

Chase away bad dreams with this Native American inspired craft project

Learn more about dream catchers here.

FOSSIL DIGGER      June 12, 10:30am

Learn about paleontology while you dig for “fossils”

LITTLE MONSTERS           June 19, 10:30am

Work with clay to create your own little monster 

GARDEN TROLLS      June 26, 10:30am

Create your very own grass head troll

MAGIC CARPETS     July 10, 10:30am

You will be making a loom and creating a magic carpet with yarn

DRIFT AWAY IN THE WIND July 24, 10:30am

We will be going on a nature walk collecting flowers and leaves to create a wind chime

BLAST OFF TO SPACE  July 31, 10:30am

Let us worry about the mess while the kids create galaxy slime, moon rocks, and explore the milky way

ANIMAL TRACKER        August 7, 10:30am

Learn about animals that live in Roseau County and make a  plaster footprint and other animal tracks

STAR GAZER      August 14, 10:30am

Create woven stars or create an origami star

OCEAN DIVER       August 21, 10:30am

Make various sun catchers using various materials while learning about sea life

SLEUTH HUNT      August 6 -25, All Day

Come in and search for three different items daily for a chance to win four weekly prizes.

 

SCAVENGER HUNTS  Any day throughout the summer find items within the museum.

Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling for all programs
