Going to Work – The New Deal in Minnesota on May 2 at 6 pm at the Warroad School Theater – Free and Open to the public.
The 1930s was an interesting time in our nation’s history. President Roosevelt helped to create a series of economic programs to respond to the Great Depression. Doug presents photos he has taken throughout MN of these projects and tells the history.
This program is hosted by the Roseau County Historical Society, Warroad Heritage Center, and Lake of the Woods County Historical Society in conjunction with a traveling exhibit created by the Minnesota Historic Northwest. For more information, contact a hosting organization.
