Description

Preface by Hazel Wahlberg

This book was compiled so that the remembrance of the foundations of Roseau County would be preserved. the subjects for the articles were chosen to present a wide variety of occupations from various areas in the county. Further consideration had to be given to the availability of data, authoritative authorship, as well as the contributions each made to Roseau County. Perhaps at some future date, some can compile a book to honor more our esteemed area citizens, past and present.

The articles of historical significance are taken from them Roseau County’s early records which must be retained for posterity. This book along with The North Land, Pioneers O Pioneers, completes a trilogy of Roseau County Histyr which fulfills the author’s dream.
